2. Daniel Prosser - 1744 - 1829 - Rev. War Soldier

born 1744 ~ died August 11, 1829, Plymouth twp., Richland co., Ohio. Served in the Rev. War, and was afterward promoted to the rank of Capt. of what was known as "The Spy Company", and served under General Edward Hand; assumed he was with Major General John Sullvans campaign in the fall of 1779. Removed to Erie co., Pennsylvania 1802, but soon thereafter to Brooke co., West Virginia, and finally in 1815 to Richland co., Ohio, Plymouth twp., Ohio in 1815; having died there in 1829. m. Margaret Mickey, born c1763, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania and died August 11, 1820, Plymouth twp. Richland co., Ohio. [Margaret’s father born Ireland and her mother born England].
