Some time between 1915 & 1920, Carey and his family left Iowa and went to live in Chicago, Illinois. He was a Livestock Auctioneer and was living on N. Elmwood Ave., Oak Park, Cook co., Illinois, at the time of the 1920 census.
Carey m. 2nd., Lottie Nickol. Carey d. June 6, 1959, at age 83, Chicago, Illinois, the remains were cremated by Forest Home, Forest Park, Illinois.

Services for Carey M. Jones, 83, of 330 N. Austin Blvd., Oak Park, veteran live stock auctioneer, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel at 203 S. Marion st., Oak Park. Mr. Jones, who died Sunday, wqs an appraiser of estates for the public administrators office the last 12 years. He leaves his widow, Lottie; and two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Duttenhofer and Mrs Dorris Kane; [half] brother of Harry [Jones] and George [Allen] - three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at funeral home, 203 S. Marion St., at Pleasant Street, Oak Park. Services Wednesday, 2 p.m. Interment private. Pennsylvania, 1852 & was still living with the family on Walnut St. in Lenox in 1925.Orval was associated with his father in the auctioneer business at Lenox until 1929, when he moved to Des Moines. He was there employed as a salesman in the farm and tire department of Montgomery Ward & co. - Orval d. August 18, 1954 in Des Moines; his address at the time of his death was, 635 Forty-ninth st. Burial was in the Lenox cemetery in Taylor co. He was survived by his wife "Ollie" who d., July 9th, 1973, at Sioux City, Iowa.
Mary (Berger) Richard was the dau of George Berger & Amelia B. Good, both b. (m. Muncy, Lycoming co.) Pennsylvania.

Orval Alanson Jones, born April 12, 1883, son of Mr. & Mrs. J. West Jones. Born & schooled in Lenox. Was associated with his father and brother in the auction business, served in various civic positions in Local and city capacities and was a member of the Lenox Presbyterian Church. After his marriage in 1905 to Olive Richard the couple moved to Chicago where they lived for a number of years and later moving to Des Moines, Iowa. After a brief illness of two weeks, Orval passed away in a Des Moines Hospital on August 18, 1954. After twenty years of residence in Des Moines he is returned to Lenox for his final resting place.
Survivors: His wife Ollie, a daughter, Helen Van Buskirk, Sioux City, Arlo Richard is a brother-in-law.
Out of town relatives at the funeral were, Mr. & Mrs. Harry A. Jones and Gertrude Swearingen of Omaha, Nebraska Mr. & Mrs. Roland Harrison, *Mr. & Mrs. Harry J. Fahnestock [*b. May 23, 1896] and Paul Holman of Des Moines; Mr. & Mrs. R. E. Van Buskirk and David of Alta, Iowa; Mr. & Mrs. G. R. Heflen and Mrs. J. B. Russell of Creston.

- July 12, 1973Mrs. Orvil A. Jones, of Sioux City, died Tuesday, July 9th, 1973 in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness, she was 89 years old. Mrs. Jones was a native and pioneer of Lenox having left in 1930. Her husband was a well known auctioneer in the vicinity. She had lived in Des Moines and in Sioux City since leaving Lenox. She leaves to morn her passing, a son-in-law, Loren Van Buskirk of Sioux City and niece, Mrs. John McCarroll of Wickenburg, Arizona and a nephew, Gail Richard of Pittsburg, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Westley and a daughter Helen

Jones, passed away Sunday, October 24, 1948, at the Iowa Tuberculosis sanatorium at Oakdale, after an illness of more then a year. he was 40 years old at the time of his death. Born in Chicago, Ill., April 7, 1908. Wesley was a graduate of the Lenox high school, class of 1926. He attended the Drake University for two years. Uniting with the United Presbyterian church at the age of 12, he never transferred his membership. - Mr. Jones was a newscaster for radio station KCBC before he became ill and was formerly on the staff of station WHO. He also was a broadcaster over stations in Texas & Louisiana. - Surviving are his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Orval Jones of Des Moines, and a sister, Helen of Sioux City. Arlo Richard of Lenox, Iowa, is an uncle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lorin Van Buskirk, 60, 3117 Marshall Ave., will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Nelson-Burger Funeral Home in Morningside. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview cemetery, Lenox, Iowa. Mrs. Van Buskirk died Saturday at a Sioux City, hospital. The former Helen Louise Jones. Mrs. Van Buskirk was born, Aug. 14, 1911, in Chicago. She was graduated from high school in Lenox Iowa and had lived in Des Moines and Omaha before moving to Sioux City 25 years ago. She was employed in the ticket office of Braniff airlines for 15 years. She was married to Mr. Van Buskirk, Oct. 6, 1951, in Sioux City, Iowa. Survivors include the widower and her mother, Mrs. Olive R. Jones of Sioux City.

b. April 22, 1890, Lenox, Taylor co., Iowa. m. Maude King, b. 1895. Removed to Omaha, Nebraska where he worked as a salesman at Wineberg Shoe co. His residence was 3021 S. 108th St., Omaha, Nebraska. Harry d. April 19, 1976, at age 85, while living at Fowler Manor, in Omaha. He was survived by his wife Maude, who d. December 26, 1984, at age 89. Burial for both was in the Hillcrest cemetery, Omaha, Nebraska. Four grandchildren - Six great grandchildren
