I believe Joshua probably had more siblings, but no proof of that right now. Highland County is chock-full of GEORGE's & JOHNSON's to this day. Jesse & Mercy/Mary GEORGE were part of the first wave of settlers in the area and were prominent in the Quaker community. It appears both lines were well-known in political, religious, and social circles in the county. It seems that Joshua and Lydia sort of "dropped by" for just a few years before moving on to Indiana. They appear in the 1840 and 1850 Marion County, IN census records. In 1850 a John Riley, age 12, is listed as part of their household along with a young couple whose names I cannot make out on the film. - Ann - AnnJMM@aol.com
